Located in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, between the Chaillot hill, the place of Trocadéro, and the garden of the same name, It is a set of 1930s style buildings with the Palais de Chaillot, built for the exhibition Universal of 1878 and dismantled 57 years later. . The Trocadéro which overlooks the Seine and faces the Eiffel Tower. It’s a magnificent space (55,000 m2) containing the Jardins du Trocadéro, the Esplanade du Trocadéro, the National Theater of Chaillot, the National Museum of the Navy...   

The Trocadero is very touristy and consists of fairly quiet neighborhoods like Passy (Passy is an old village annexed to Paris in 1860, similar to the village of Auteuil. Originally, the place was inhabited by monks and wealthy citizens who cultivated the vineyard.)  

  

This district is visibly known for the Eiffel Tower:  

The name of the Eiffel Tower comes from the engineer Gustave Eiffel who created it. It was launched on March 31, 1889, at the Universal Exhibition in Paris that year.  The tower's height is 324 meters.  

Gustave Eiffel took the initiative to use it to carry out scientific experiments, particularly in meteorology. Then the engineer installed an antenna on top of the tower. By demonstrating a scientific interest in the Eiffel Tower, he prevented the authorities from ordering its dismantling. To assess the progress of the work, Gustave Eiffel records the total number of rivets placed daily.  

   

If there is one garden to visit, it is the Jardins du Trocadéro ! Wonderful place to greet the Iron Lady. Created during the 1937 trade fair, this 93,930 square meters of green space offers stunning views of the Eiffel Tower, in the center of the garden is the famous Warsaw fountain with 20 water cannons.  

   

This area is very touristy and there is plenty to do  

   

Take a tour of the Balzac house located in the heart of the old village of Passy, the Balzac museum is the only surviving writer's mansion in Paris.
